Former Flying Eagles skipper Odion Jude Ighalo scored twice to hand Watford a 2-1 comeback win away at Brentford on Tuesday night.
Andre Gray put the home side ahead very early in the second half, planting the ball in the net in the 52nd minute to the elation of home fans at Griffin Park.
But just as Ighalo did against Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, he proved to be the much reliable match-winner for Watford when he grabbed a brace in the 67th and 90th minute to seal the win for the Hornets.
In the process, Ighalo went on to notch his 13th and 14th English Championship goals of the season.
The win keeps Watford within the play offs zone with 53 points.
Moses Odubajo was in 90 minutes action for the hosts, who had Jake Bidwell sent off in the 38th minute.
Despite a 38th-minute red card for Bidwell, the hosts took the lead through Gray just after half-time.
But an Odion Ighalo double, taking his tally to eleven in his last seven, turned things around for Watford, with the winner arriving in stoppage time.
