Just like last season, this term’s Damallsvenskan is shaping up as a two-horse title race between LdB Malmo and Tyreso FF.
Malmo laid down their marker on Matchday 14 with a 5-0 rout at Kopparbergs/Goteborg FC, pushing their rivals into second place. A brace from Germany international Anja Mittag, as well as strikes from Manon Melis, Therese Sjogran and Sara Gunnarsdottir fired Malmo to the league summit. Tyreso can pull level on points on Wednesday with victory over KIF Orebro.
