Sunshine Stars forward Dele Olorundare has agreed to join Turkish club Tavsanli Linytspor.
Olorundare, who was on the verge of joining South African league club Maritzburg, will now lace his boots for the Turkish club along with compatriots Akeem Agbetu and Sani Gideon.
Olorundare is expected to sign a two-year deal after a routine medical in Turkey.
The hard working striker has featured for defunct Babanawa FC, Nasarawa United and Sunshine Stars. He was also on the fringes of the Super Eagles.

AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has hit back at claims from the mayor of Verona that Mario Balotelli is a troublemaker, saying the problem of racism lies with supporters not the Italy attacker.
"The racism problem isn't anything to do with Mario, but rather with a lack of culture on the part of people who go to the stadium and behave in a certain way towards players with a different skin colour," Allegri said on Friday.
Allegri was speaking at a news conference ahead of their Serie A season-opening match at Hellas Verona on Saturday. Verona mayor Flavio Tosi, also speaking before the promoted local team's first Serie A match in more than a decade, said Italy striker Balotelli brings abuse upon himself.
"Mario is a troublemaker. There are lots of black players (in Italy), and those who don't wind up opposition fans don't have any problems," Tosi, who represents the separatist Northern League party, said.
"Balotelli is a formidable player... but he knows how to be irksome when he's out on the pitch and that exasperates people. He even managed to have issues with Chievo fans, who most certainly are not racist," he said referring to the city's other first division team.
However, Tosi appealed to Hellas Verona fans not to abuse Milan's black players and backed the closing of spectator sections or even whole stadiums should fans racially abuse players.
Lazio and AS Roma will have to play matches with the hardcore fan sections of the Olympic Stadium in Rome closed after incidents of racist chanting.
"If chants come from four idiotic individuals then it's right to close the sector. If it's the whole stadium at fault then it's correct to close the entire ground," the Gazzetta Dello Sport quoted Tosi as saying.

Boateng back in Black Stars fold, Muntari apologise
AC Milan midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng has written to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to confirm his availability to play for the Black Stars again after nearly two years of taking temporary leave.
"I write to inform the Ghana Football Association that, after a few consultations, I have decided to change my decision and confirm my availability to play for the Black Stars whenever I am needed," Boateng said in a statement on Friday.
The AC Milan midfielder, 24, had announced his retirement from international football in November 2011 after playing 18 months for Ghana, citing frequent injuries.
The last match he played for the national team was in a 2012 African Nations Cup qualifier against Congo Brazzaville in Kumasi, 270 km north of the national capital.

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany will miss at least four weeks of action and a Premier League match against rival Manchester United after picking up a groin injury.

Edwin Okon on the spotlight, speaks on his Falcons assignment and the Fed Cup final.
Super Falcons caretaker coach, Edwin Okon has said his wards will not disappoint against their Japanese opponents, Nadeshiko.
The six-time African champions will be the guests of the world champions in two-match international friendly matches in two Japanese cities of Isahaya and Chiba on September 22 and 26 respectively.
Okon, who got the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) nod to handle the side for the high profile friendly on Tuesday, said he has already hit the ground running preparatory for the game.
“Of course, the time is too short to have an elaborate plan for the friendly games. The Japanese side have been in camp for the past one year preparing for the games.
“We’ll work hard within the time available to ensure we achieve positive results against the world champions.
“Ordinarily, we would have enlarged the house with many players for trials but right now I’ve submitted 40 names picked from the various teams to be prune down to the required size.
“We’ll select the best and ensure the best will give us the required result. It will be tough but I think we’ll be able to rise to the occasion,” said the Rivers Angels coach to supersport.com.
Rivers Angels defeated Pelican Stars 2-0 in the Federation Cup semifinal in Abuja on Wednesday and will face Nasarawa Amazons in the final billed for the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos on September 15. The Lafia-based side piped Bayelsa Queens 1-0 in Ado-Ekiti.
Okon said the coast is clear for his side to defend the title the Port Harcourt-based side won in the 2012 final.

Fed Cup Final- Enyimba to meet Warri Wolves
Warri Wolves will now face Enyimba in the 2013 Federation Cup final billed for the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos on September 15.
The Warri club had to wait an extra day to confirm their place in the Cup final by defeating Akwa United 2-1 in the semifinal at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi on Thursday.
The Federation Cup semifinal between Wolves and Akwa United took place on Wednesday but had to be called off owing to heavy rainfall.
The score of the game stood at 1-1 when the centre referee Ago Abubakar called off the match on Wednesday with a little over 10 minutes to time.
Akwa United had gone in front through Ukeme Davies in the 71st minute before Wolves talisman, Oghenekaro Etebo levelled score six minutes later.
However, when the game continued on Thursday from the last 15 minutes, Wolves earned a spot kick which was deftly converted by Gift Atiluwa for the winner inside the last 10 minutes.
Warri Wolves will be playing in their first-ever Cup final in Nigeria and now stand a chance of winning their first major silverware after the club was acquired by the Delta State government from the Nigeria Port Authority (NPA).
Enyimba, on the other hand, have won the Federation Cup twice in 2005 and 2009.

Lobi Stars centre-back, Anthony Agbaji has said his side have redirected their attention towards doing well in the ongoing 2012/13 Glo Premier League season.
The Makurdi-based side were on Wednesday dumped 0-1 by Enyimba in the semifinal of the 2013 Federation Cup at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.
Super Eagles striker, Ifeanyi Ede's lone strike was enough to cement the Enyimba's place in the final of the annual football fiesta coming up in Lagos on September 15.
Lobi Stars questioned the goal by Enyimba claiming the referee made bad calls and refused them several penalty appeals.
Agbaji said after his side's elimination in the Federation Cup in the hands of Enyimba that they have no choice than to fight hard to overcome the poor fortune that has befallen Lobi Stars in the league where they are placed bottom of the standings.
“Of course, we never asked for the questionable officiating that characterised our Federation Cup semifinal defeat in the hands of Enyimba. We had a great dream of going ahead to play in the final and make amend for the lapses that cheated us from winning the encounter against Heartland in 2012.
“Unfortunately, everything has ended a mere dream but life must go on as we have the league to fall back on and see what we can salvage from the precarious position we see ourselves at the moment.
“Ordinarily, the incident that saw us off from the Federation Cup is enough to kill every appetite in us to raise a hand of defence but we just realised that under no circumstance should Lobi Stars go down relegated.
“It’s a vow we’ve taken upon ourselves and we’re bound to work harder to put behind us the ugly memory of our ouster from the Federation Cup.
“Our position in the league table is a misrepresentation of the strength of the side and we must work hard to reposition the side and claim our rightful place,” said the Lobi Stars strongman to supersport.com.

Brown Ideye ends drought
Nigerian striker, Brown Ideye is back to goalscoring form after hitting a stunning goal for Dynamo Kyiv in the Uefa Europa League on Thursday.
The attacker scored in the 52nd minute of Dynamo Kyiv’s 3-2 first leg playoff victory against Kazakhstani club, Aktobe at the Ortaliq Stadion.
Ideye reacted in lightening fashion after receiving a brilliant defence-splitting pass from teammate, Lukman Haruna from the edge of the box.
He duly kept his composure and rounded the Aktobe keeper, Andrey Sidelnikov before slamming home into an unguarded net.
Five minutes later, the 24-year-old Nigerian showed he was in supreme form when his sublime pass found teammate, Younes Belhanda who promptly fired in Dynamo Kyiv;s third goal on the night.

Gombe United expect tough resistance from Nasarawa United
Gombe United winger, Asuquo Inyang has predicted a tough encounter this weekend when they host relegation-threatened Nasarawa United in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Inyang reckons the Solid Miners would be determined "to get at least a point" from the Pantami Stadium following the appointment of a new coach and slashing of the players salaries.
He told supersport.com that though Nasarawa United may prove to be difficult opponents, they would not be able to avoid defeat as Gombe United desperately need the three points to improve their chances of winning a continental place.
"I expect a tough game because Nasarawa United have taken measures to ensure they improve on their performance, and their management would be expecting them to react against us," he said.
"They have just appointed Kadiri Ikhana as coach and the players have been put on half salaries, so they would put in extra effort to get at least a point from this game.
"However, we have prepared well for them, as we haven't given up on our own objective of winning a continental slot.
"We need the three points just as they need to prove a point to their management.
"Ikhana could bring something special to their game or the players could be determined on their own, but we know we will overcome them in the end."
The former Unicem Rovers and Bayelsa United forward feels the Savannah Scorpions have come a long way since they lost some key players during the midseason transfer window, and are raring to go.
"The present side has been playing together since the start of the second round of the league and we have developed a good understanding.
"We are ready to take on anybody and we have a very good record at home.
"That is why I'm optimistic we will beat Nasarawa United, even though it may not be an easy match," he told supersport.com.

Zamalek assistant coach Usama Nabeh has denied that his team has had any negotiations with Nigerian player Stephen Worgu in order to sign him during this transfer window.
The Nigerian media earlier suggested that the player had an offer for trials from the Egyptian giants Zamalek and that he turned it down .

The “contract” said Kayode on February 16 2010 signed a contract with Asec for three years, which entitles him to a monthly salary of 300,000 FCFA (about 99,000 Naira) with Ogunjobi earning 150,000 FCFA for the 2011 season.
The player will then receive 400,000FCFA monthly for the 2012 season with Ogunjobi pocketing an additional 150,000 FCFA.

"I'm not a stumbling block to Kayode's progress"- Taiwo Ogunjobi
Taiwo Ogunjobi said that he is not the stumbling block between Kayode and a foreign deal.
He said he will never work against the progress of Kayode or any Nigerian player and that Asec are in the best position to talk about contract situation of the Nigeria U20 striker.
"How will he say he doesn't have a contract with Asec Mimosas? I don't have much to say on it because any explanation I give here will be seen as a defence but if you can contact any Asec official, they will tell you the true position on Kayode's contract,” said the Osun State FA boss.
“I have a name to protect, how will I agree that a player owned by another club should be transferred through another club.
“I will be glad if you can dig deep and get to ASEC for clarification. As we all know, the transfer of a player is done between club and club."
Ogunjobi said that Kayode was loaned to Lucerne in Switzerland, but never returned to his parent club Asec after the expiration of the loan deal.

English FA lay-off Powell
Hope Powell has been dismissed as head coach of the England women's football team, the Football Association has announced.
Powell had been in the job for 15 years, having taken up the role in 1998, and she guided England to a runners-up spot at the 2009 UEFA European Championship. However, England went out in the first round of this year's competition and the FA said it was time "for a fresh outlook".
FA General Secretary Alex Horne said: "Hope deserves a lot of credit for her commitment to developing the national teams over such a long period. The high point was undoubtedly reaching the UEFA European Championship final four years ago.
The Club England Board believe the time is right to make a change and for a fresh outlook.
"However, after the disappointment of the recent tournament in Sweden, the Club England Board believe the time is right to make a change and for a fresh outlook. I'd like to place on record the organisation's thanks to Hope for her efforts and wish her every success in the future.
"Hope will always be welcome back at Wembley Stadium and St.George's Park and she leaves a strong legacy, having helped The FA build the women's game to the strong position it is in today."
The statement continued: "It is important we continue this development at major tournaments so we can compete, with Germany, France, Spain and the Nordic countries in Europe in addition to the likes of Japan, Brazil, USA and Canada at the 2015 FIFA World Cup.

ARSENAL LINKED WITH REAL MADRID DUO
The Gunners are known to be making moves in the market to bolster their squad and a number of outlets suggest that a primary focus is now Los Blancos’ French international striker.
The Daily Mail, Telegraph and BBC are among those running the line that Arsene Wenger’s side are preparing a £40m, €47m bid for the 25-year-old, believing that this would tempt Madrid into negotiations.
It is understood that the Premier League side have been in initial contact in the past 48 hours and been encouraged by the response they have had.

Nigeria international Joseph Akpala is closing in on a move to English club Reading, according to the club manager Nigel Adkins.
Adkins has said he is close to signing two players including Akpala this summer and was excited the Werder Bremen striker is around on trials.

FIFA gets over a million ticket requests within 420 minutes
Over one million FIFA World Cup finals ticket requests were made within the first seven hours of public sale, soccer's world governing body FIFA said on Tuesday.
The first phase of sales for next year's tournament runs until October 10 and FIFA said more than 163,000 people had made requests on Tuesday for various games.
The opening match on June 12 at the Arena de Sao Paulo (over 168,000 requests) and the final at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro (more than 165,000) were the two most popular games.
The most requests for tickets came from Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Chile and England, added FIFA.
A lottery will be held to decide the distribution for games which are over-subscribed.

Lewy settles rift with Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski has resolved differences with the club over a failed transfer to Bayern Munich in the close season, the Poland international said on Wednesday after being given a pay rise.
Lewandowski was desperate to leave the Champions League runners-up to join treble winners Bayern Munich but the deal fell through after Dortmund blocked the transfer, saying he had a contract until 2014.
A bitter war of words ensued between the two sides, raising concerns over his commitment to Dortmund in his final year of his contract.
"The situation is now that I will stay in Dortmund for one more year," Lewandowski told Sport Bild magazine. "We have put aside all disagreements and have cleared the air.
There were mistakes made but the case is closed."
"I had a different starting point. I thought I was allowed to transfer. I was then disappointed and angry. But now everything is calm. I have always said I would respect my contract."
Dortmund also said they gave the forward an unspecified pay hike last week based on last season's performances.
"It is true that we have adapted his remunerations to his sporting contribution," Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said, without giving any details on the rise of the forward's annual salary. "We had intended for months to do that."
German media reported his salary was up from 1.5 million euros to 5 million annually.

Sunshine captain makes move to Turkey
Turkish club Rizespor have announced the acquisition of Nigeria defender Godfrey Oboabona.
According to a statement on the club's official website signed by the club's director and press officer Spacious Aykut, the ex-Sunshine Stars captain sealed a four year deal.
AFCON 2013 winner will formalise the deal with contract signing ceremony as well as unveiling on Thursday August 22 at Rizespor Mehmet Cengiz club house.
The versatile player, who could play central defence, defensive midfield or right fullback, is expected to earn 450,000 Euros a year.

Chelsea 2-1 Aston Villa (Match Report)
Chelsea secured their second straight win in the Premier League when they defeated Aston Villa 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
The Blues went ahead through an early own-goal from Antonio Luna but Christian Benteke equalised for the Villans on the stroke of half time before Branislav Ivanovic netted the winner in the second half.
The Blues got off to a good start when they opened the scoring in the 6th minute; Eden Hazard was put through on the left and although his shot was saved by Brad Guzan, the ball ricocheted off Luna and into the back of the net.
The Blues dominated possession throughout the first half but had nothing more to show for it and they were made to pay for it in the third minute of added time when the visitors scored the equaliser with their first real chance of the match.
Gabriel Agbonlahor went on a great run on the left and cut the ball back to find Benteke on the left side of the box; the striker needed one touch to control the ball before squeezing his low shot at the near post.
The second half saw more in the way of goalmouth action with both sides looking for the winner.
The first chance fell for Villa in the 61st minute when Benteke left the ball for Agbonlahor on the edge of the box, but his curled shot went just over the crossbar.
Two minutes later Benteke cut in from the left before playing a brilliant cross to pick out Andreas Weimann at the far post, but Petr Cech reacted quickly to push the ball wide for a corner.

NFF Women's Fed Cup- Rivers Angels and Nasarawa Amazons to contest for the title
Rivers Angels are on the brink of another Fed Cup win as they beat Pelican Stars 2-0 thanks to Evelyn Nwabuoko's 56th minute sizzler and Stella Mbachu's late penalty strike.
The opening exchanges saw the Calabar girls running rings round Rivers Angels, with the trio of Esther Sunday, Chimebere Opara, Uche Kalu in charge. The young starlets, Opara and Uche really showed guts in dribbling Elizabeth Addo and Gloria Ofoegbu respectively.
Sunday almost put Pelican Stars ahead with a seventh-minute rocket but she was denied by Whyte Ibubeleye.
The lively Uche was all over Rivers Angels defence line led by Cameroon international Cathy Bou. Her entertaining style and dribbling skills made Area 3 fans crave for more.
Another exciting component was Chimebere who restricted Addo for the entire length.
A 26th minute free-kick by Blessing Edoho was excellently saved by the busy Whyte. Her opposite number, Alaba Jonathan, was also called to action, after Rebecca Kalu and Asisat Oshoala combined to release the reliable Evelyn Nwabuoku.
The first half was well dominated by Pelican Stars, but they refused to take their chances.
Rivers Angels were then forced to go on the defensive as Pelican Stars looked to hit them on the counter, with Uche also testing keeper Whyte before Sunday set up Chimbere, whose 20-yard shot went just inches wide.
It was Rivers Angels who went the closest before the break, when Evelyn combined with Mercy Amenze on the left, with the latter smashing the ball before it was dealt with by Pelican's defence.
After the break, Whyte kept out Sunday's low drive before Evelyn drew the curtain raiser following a goalmouth scramble in the 56th minute.
Old reliable, Stella Mbachu sealed the win late in the second period, an 88th minute penalty after Blessing Edoho was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box.
Nigeria international Whyte Ibubeleye, who made several point blank saves, was elated to have been a part of the winning side on Wednesday.
“The win was important to us. I'm happy we scaled through despite an average first half," she said.
On the final match against Nasarawa Amazons, the young goalkeeper is confident of her team's armoury to retain th Fed Cup.
“In Rivers Angels, we fear no foe. The match in Lagos will be taken with all seriousness. The ultimate is winning the cup," she declared.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger defended his transfer policy, reminding disgruntled fans of the club's past successes and encouraging them to put their faith in the current squad.

"I would like to reiterate in the last 16 years we have been very successful with transfers," he told a news conference.
"If you look at the players who play today, they are top quality players, and you should never forget that."

Manchester United's approach for two leading Everton players is a waste of time, the Merseyside club's manager Roberto Martinez said on Tuesday.
The Spaniard's comments came the day after the club's director of communications Alan Myers branded the bids for Belgium midfielder Marouane Fellaini and England defender Leighton Baines as "derisory and insulting".
"It's been well documented what happened with the transfer speculation, that's been dealt with and it was all a little bit of a waste of time - time I don't want the players to waste," Martinez told Everton Television.
He questioned whether the transfer window should even still be open when the season was underway, echoing the views of Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew who on Monday was angry about the timing of an approach by Arsenal for midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
"I'm not a big believer in having the window open while the games are starting," Martinez said. "I think the start of the season was important for us at Norwich (a 2-2 draw) and I won't come out now and carry on talking about the speculation. When there is something to tell our fans we will do that - they'll be the first ones to know if there are any players coming in or any players going out.
But I don't believe in getting involved in the transfer window when the games are underway and we are in a very, very important moment of our season," said Martinez.
"We're trying to find our feet, we've got a good start under our belts, we've got real competition for places and we've got the visit of West Brom at the weekend."

The Big Boss releases a strong squad for the battle of Malawi
Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has invited 24 players from the local league and 18 from overseas for next month’s World Cup qualifier against Malawi.
Only five of the 24 home boys will eventually join the 18 overseas-based stars for the big game, as well as for a friendly against Burkina Faso in Kaduna on Tuesday, September 10.
Usual suspects, goalkeeper Chigozie Agbim, defenders Azubuike Egwuekwe, Solomon Kwambe and Benjamin Francis, as well as midfielders Sunday Mba and forward Gambo Mohammed headline the home boys’ contingent.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew accused Arsenal of showing a lack of respect by lodging a bid for key midfielder Yohan Cabaye only hours before his team's opening Premier League game on Monday.
Cabaye missed Newcastle's 4-0 loss to Manchester City because Pardew said the France international wasn't in the right frame of mind to play. "We've prepared with the lad for three days," Pardew said, "and then for him to have his head turned by this bid from Arsenal on the eve of a game is just disrespectful in my view."
"Why they couldn't give us the respect and honour of waiting till Tuesday morning is beyond me," Pardew said, adding that he is "upset" by the situation and that Arsenal's offer, reported in the British media to be about 10 million pounds ($15.65 million), is "below our valuation of the player, for sure."
Cabaye is the latest leading player to be left unsettled by a bid from a rival Premier League team this summer. Manchester United have turned down two bids from Chelsea for striker Wayne Rooney and Liverpool are refusing to let Uruguay international Luis Suarez leave following an offer in excess of 40 million pounds from Arsenal.
Together with Real Madrid's pursuit of Tottenham winger Gareth Bale, these are transfer stories that will run and run until the window closes on September 2. For that reason, Pardew believes the summer window should be closed before the season begins.
"He [Cabaye] is a player that you put in Suarez and Bale's situation," Pardew said. "I think there's a question of the window being closed before we kick off the Premier League season.
"I know the Premier League did enquire to the European leagues to perhaps do it, and they said the European leagues wouldn't fall in line. But after the summer we have had, with the situations we have had with Rooney as well, it's definitely something they need to put under the microscope once again."
