Former Super Eagles first choice keeper and Bayelsa United coach, David
Ngodingha will be in the dug-out for Go Round FC as they start their
campaign in the Nigeria National League on Friday.
Ngodingha is however not head of the coaching crew as he is there as
coaching consultant or Technical Adviser.
Former Dolphins and Lobi Stars attacker, Ngozi Elechi will continue as
head coach of the side for the 3rd consecutive season.
Team Manager of the club, Soni Uboh says they are confident in the ability
of the coaches.
“David Ngodingha remains the technical adviser. Remember he was part of
the team that went to the UK and we believe what he learned there will be
of immense value to the club.
“We also have Ngozi Elechi who is an excellent coach and match reader and
was part of a recent FIFA coaching course. We have confidence in our
coaches,” Uboh said.
Players return
Soni Uboh was also excited at the return of two of their former players
who had ditched the side to join Premier League clubs.
“Two of our outstanding attackers, Chidi Nwachukwu and our captain Nyime
Nwangwa have returned.
“Nwachukwu went to Gabros but he was registered without our knowledge, we
made a case and he returned. Nyime too went to Shooting Stars but has
since returned to join us,” Uboh said.
Go Round FC who have their own stadium, The Kris Dera Hotel Stadium play
their home games at Omoku, and Oil rich town in Rivers State, about one
hour thirty minutes drive from Port Harcourt.
