History is made, FC Robo makes the Super Six Play Offs

FC Robo recorded an excellent two-nil victory over Martins White Dove at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium. The feat ensured that they qualified for the Super Six, the first in the history of the club.

An own goal by the hosts and a fantastic individual effort by young midfielder Precious Oyhagbara sealed the points and a place in the Super Six for the Lagos girls.

Speaking after the interesting battle, pick of the match Precious Oyhagbara attributed with her team's success to hardwork and self belief.

"We kept on fighting until this dream was realised. The road to glory has just begun and God will always be there for us.

"Team spirit and hardwork were the main things that kept us moving and today's victory is for our loyal fans, she said.

The youngster was utilised in a diamond role as against her usual central midfield position and she combined well with Ayomide Anibaba and Ndubuisi Esther to great effects.
