Kogi United attacking midfielder Osas Eghe has dedicated his match-winning goal against Wikki Tourists to his mum.
The Wada Boys maintained their hundred percent home record in the ongoing Nigeria National League, with a 2-1 hard fought victory over the Pool A leaders in Lokoja on Saturday.
After the match, an excited Osas told Futball Galore he "dedicated" the goal and the victory to his mother who added a feather to her already beautiful collections on Thursday.
“It was a good moment scoring a very important for the team, at such a crucial time,” the box-to-box midfielder said.
“The goal and victory is for my dearest mum who celebrated her birthday on Thursday 25th September.”
Osas, one of the exciting prospects in the fold of the Lokoja-based team also thanked the management and coaching staffs of the team for their support.
“I want to thank the management team headed by Mallam Abdul Adama and the coaching staffs for their motivation to this great team. We can only reward them with eye catching games,” he added.
