WAZZA CROSS WITH UNITED

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is unhappy over claims he's not fit.
He is in danger of becoming an outcast at Old Trafford after telling new boss David Moyes he wants to join Chelsea.

Now Rooney fears the stand-off will ruin his chances of playing in next week's international friendly against Scotland. United are refusing to sell Rooney to Chelsea and have rejected two bids from their Premier League rivals.

In the meantime, United insist Rooney has been injured with shoulder and leg problems to keep him out of all six of his side's pre-season friendlies so far.

But sources close to the player insist Rooney will be fit enough and is desperate to face the Spanish outfit. The hitman is also keen to face Wigan in Sunday's Community Shield and then line up against the Scots three days later.
