Rivers Angels manager gets the mandate, awaits official notification from the NFF.

Rivers Angels tactician Coach Edwin Okon has been mandated to temporarily take charge of the Super Falcons hotseat for the upcoming friendlies against Japan.

The dark-skinned gaffer whose team finished top of the Pool B log of the 2012/2013 NWFL regular season was in charge of the U20 side during the 2012 FIFA World Cup held in Japan.

Futball Galore caught up with him but he to wait for orders from his employers.

"People have called in to congratulate me on the assignment at hand. But I'm yet to be notified by the NFF.

The tough games against top-ranked Japan has been fixed for 22nd and 26th September in Japan.
