Mikel, Moses and Omeruo missing in Chelsea's win, Aluko makes the starters list

Chelsea duo of John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses were dropped in Sunday’s 2-0 EPL opener against Hull City, as both players have failed to make the cut for the Stamford Bridge clash. Also missing was Kenneth Omeruo, who is recovering from injury.


Neither the starting eleven released nor the substitutes list had any of the Nigerian players on it.

However, Omotsone Aluko was given a starter’s shirt by Coach Steve Bruce as Hull began their adventure back in top flight.
