Serie A giants Milan have made Fiorentina a formal offer for Adem Ljajic, the Gazetta dello Sport maintains.
The striker’s future is in some doubt given that his present deal in Florence is set to expire at the end of the season.
He has been in discussions regarding a renewal in Tuscany, but if an agreement is not found then he could be available on a Bosman next summer.
Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani reportedly called Viola chief Andrea Della Valle this morning to make their bid, thought to be €8m.
Della Valle is expected to speak with the Serbian forward later today to discuss their options.
The 21-year-old was signed by the Viola in January 2010 from Partizan Belgrade. He scored 11 goals in 28 League games last season.
