Salami Ends Goal Drought

Nigerian striker Eugene Salami returned to scoring ways in Czech Republic when he ended a six-month goals’ drought as FK Teplice defeated Mlada Boleslao 5-0.


FK Teplice are now fifth on the Czech Republic top-flight table with 32 points.

The former Niger Tornadoes striker scored his side’s fifth goal just a minute after he was thrown into the fray for Roman Potocny.

His last goal before this game was on October 18, 2014, when his club beat Bohemians 1904 4-1.

He has now scored three goals in the league.

He has previously played for Niger Tornadoes (Nigeria), Debreceni, Kecskemeti, Nyiregyhaze Spartacus (all in Hungary).
