Unknown Nigerian Light Up Sweden

Omoh Michael has been on fire, scoring goals in the Swedish second-tier league with reckless abandon.

The Dalkurd ace was on fire again at the weekend, scoring the first goal in the 58th minute in the 2-0 defeat of IFK Lulea, to take his season tally in all competitions to 15.

Another Nigerian, Chidi Omeje, a striker, grabbed the other goal of the match in the 82nd minute. Dalkurd are currently fourth on the log in the 14-team league and are hoping to gain promotion at the end of the season.

“I hope to keep scoring but what is most important is that we keep winning,” Michael, who was also named the Most Valuable Player of the game, said.

Dalkurd have played 22 games and Michael has been involved in 19 of them, only missing out in two games due to an injury.
