News emanating from Kano is not pleasant, as Kano Pillars coaches were involved in an accident.
The terrible blow happened at Gangarida in Ikara LGA of Kaduna State on their way to Kano after honouring their Fed Cup obligations against Warri Wolves in Ilorin.
The sad event occurred as a result of a bursted tire that killed a road side mechanic and rendered the team's tactician Baba Ganaru, chief coach Maikaba and assistant coach Kabiru Baleria seriously injured.
The trio were first admitted at the Kwanar Dangora Clinic. But they have been transfered to Murtala Hospital Kano.
According reports from an official of the club, the affected gaffers are responding to treatment.
