Manchester City will be looking for their eighth consecutive Barclays Premier League victory over Newcastle United. They are unbeaten against Newcastle in the top flight since September 2005.

The hosts, who will be under the guidance of new manager Manuel Pellegrini this term, beat Alan Pardew's Newcastle 4-0 in the corresponding fixture last season.
