Confluence Queens Walk Over Adamawa Queens in Jalingo

Nigeria Women Premier League side, Confluence Queens Football Club of Lokoja have gained a total match points and goals against Adamawa Queens after their opponents failed to show up for their rescheduled league game in Jalingo, Taraba State.

The Yola Queens who were ordered to play their remaining home games at Jolly Nyame Stadium due to insecurity reasons in Yola failed to show up in Jalingo after failing to play any home games in the current NWPL season.

The Yola based side also ordered the appointed match officials of the game not to turn up for the encounter in Jalingo as they will be responsible for their indemnity.

Following the hosts' failure to honor the match at their new ground, the visitors followed the order of the NWPL authorities to had a walk over using Taraba State based referees in accordance with the given instructions.

The Wada Queens will now wait for the league body to effect their 3points and 3 goals.

Before the walk over that took place on Saturday in Jalingo, the Lokoja based team have accrued 31 points from 20 games to sit 5th on the log, and now move to 3rd with 34 points behind Rivers Angels and Osun Babes.
