League, has descended heavily on Spotlight FC of Katsina by imposing a
fine of N.2 million in the first instance and a suspension of its team captain
and secretary till further notice.

by the deliberate attack on the match officials in its home match against Supreme
Court FC in Katsina.
According to
the report of the said match submitted to NNL, it was stated that Spotlight FC ‘s
Captain Abdulahi Juli and Secretary Musa Abubakar and three others at-large

reasons best known to them.

of hooliganism, both Juli and Abubakar have been handed an indefinite
suspension while Spotlight FC will cough out the sum of Two Hundred Thousand
Naira (N200, 000.00) only which must be paid in 14 days or risk severe penalty.

further sanctions as the NNL will deem fit.
