Lille’s Enyeama, Stoke’s Moses join Chelsea’s Mikel in Nigeria squad

Nigeria boss Stephen Keshi has named his 23-man squad for next month’s African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sudan. The Super Eagles take on the Sudanese in a double-header in Group A of qualifying for the 2015 CAF tournament with the fixtures to be played in Khartoum on October 11 and most likely in Abuja on October 15. Keshi has recalled Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama after he tended to a family emergency which forced him to miss the last two matches against Congo and South Africa earlier this month. Joining Enyeama in the Nigeria squad is Chelsea’s Victor Moses, currently on loan with Stoke City, after he was left out of the previous fixtures because of poor form. Also in Keshi’s roster for the qualifiers is Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel, Hull City winger Sone Aluko, Celtic defender Efe Ambrose, Chelsea’s Middlesbrough loanee Kenneth Omeruo and Fenerbahce star Emmanuel Emenike.
