Nigerian goal keeper Rachael Ayegba has said her focus has shifted from local to Europe as PK-35 begin to prepare for their Round of 32 tie against Birmingham City in the UEFA Women Champions’ League on October 9, 2013.
Ayegba helped to her side keep a clean sheet in the final of the Suomen Finnish Cup when they beat HJK 2-0 to lift the trophy for the third time.
Rachael says to play in Europe is her dream, and she will relish the experience.
"It has always been my dream to play in Europe with my team and we are soon to face Birmingham City of England," she said.
"I'm already looking forward to playing an English team especially in England, and I hope I can help my team get a decent result when we meet, she added.
Pk-35 last season crashed of the Champions League in the Round of 16 when they were beaten 12-0 on both legs by Olympique Lyonnais.
Ayegba who was a member of the Falcons squad between 2005 and 2007 revealed that she has not closed her national team chapter yet, as she is willing to honor any national call up if extended to her.
