Gabon will host the 2013 edition of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) Cup from 9-21 December.
The draw for the tournament, a zonal competition organized by Central African Football Federations' Union (UNIFFAC) was conducted on Saturday (September 28) in Libreville.
Hosts Gabon, Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea are housed in Group A and will be based in the northern city of Oyem whilst holders Congo, Chad and Central African Republic make up the Franceville-based Group B.
The tournament will serve a good test for Gabon and Congo to gauge their preparations for next year’s Orange African Nations Championship in South Africa. Les Pantheres are in Group D with former winners DR Congo as well as debutants Burundi and Mauritania.
Congo on the other hand are in Group C with Ethiopia, Ghana and Libya.
Congo won the last edition of the tournament in 2010 beating Cameroon 9-8 on penalties in Brazzaville.
