FC Robo manager, Emmanule Osahon, says his side have the ability to making a lasting impression when the annual NWFL Super Six Play-offs begins in Yenogoa by 18th October, 2013.
The team with an average age of 13-year-old finished 3rd in the Pool A of the regular season, behind Nasarawa Amazons and Delta Queens.
Thus, they have since shifted their attention to the play-offs, a competition used to determine the league champions.
Osahon, who had a playing stint on the payroll of Union Bank FC, yesterday said teams should brace for tough encounters as FC Robo will be aiming for maximum points.
"I respect Rivers Angels, Pelican Stars, Bayelsa Queens, Nasarawa Amazons and Delta Queens.
They are like a family to me, but on the pitch we are enemies," said Osahon.
"You can never rule out anything in football but let me stress that they should not expect any favours from me because I would be in Yenogoa to do my job, which is to motivate my girls to win.
"So my purpose in Yenogoa is strictly to do business. We have won all our thirteen tune-up matches and defeated Yaba Queens, in a Cup Final here in Lagos, but that was a different competition altogether.
"Every match matters to us because soon it will be dog eat dog both at the play-offs. We need to push hard when the competition begins."
Osahon said he was delighted with the form of Chinwendu Orji and Esther Ndubuisi. Both players were crucial during the regular season.
Osahon will also be hoping that his trusted players; team skipper Kehinde Akinwande, Amirat Adebisi, Dayo Adesanya, Maria Oke, Ayomide Anaibaba, left-back Anita Uchegbu and the rugged Lovina Okafor step-up when the play-offs begins.
Team skipper, Kehinde Akinwande said they are ready for anything that comes their way.
"We are ready for the tournament and we are happy there are no injuries to worry about," the young defender assured.
