Evergreen legend registers lone strike

Super Falcons legend, Perpetua Nkwocha dug deep to score Sunnana's only goal in a league match played over the weekend.

Jonna Wistrand broke free on the left wing and her cross found the dangerous Perpetua Nkwocha, who fired past Katie Fraine in the 72nd minute.

The hosts replied two minutes later, however, as Mimmi Larsonn's cross was headed back by Merlin Ahlerg whose header beat Sussane Nilsson. It was tough one for a back-four that had Onome Ebi (no 11) and Helen Ukaonu (no 17) in action.

Sunnana's Frida Karlsson missed a great chance to score at the end of the game when she was free in the middle of the area and shot straight at Fraine.

Chances continued at either end but Perpetua continued when her 25-yard strike thumped Fraine's left-hand post.
