Sone Aluko's Hull City head into the second international break of the season still unbeaten at home after drawing 0-0 with Aston Villa at the KC on Saturday.
Although a game of few clear-cut chances, both sides will feel that they could have taken more out of it, but Steve Bruce will still be pleased with a tally of 11 points from the Tigers’ opening seven fixtures.
Good work from Figueroa looked to have sent Sone Aluko clear in the sixth minute, but Antonio Luna came across to cover well and cleared at the expense of a corner but Quinn’s set-piece was cleared.
Some nice link-up play between Aluko and Danny Graham down the City right saw the latter deliver a nice cross towards Quinn but he was just beaten to the ball by defender Ron Vlaar.
The Super Eagles forward was substituted in the 69th minute of action, with Yannick Sagbo, his replacement.
Hull City: Allan McGregor, Liam Rosenior, Abdoulaye Faye, Curtis Davies, Maynor Figueroa, Ahmed Elmohamady (David Meyler 85), Tom Huddlestone, Jake Livermore, Stephen Quinn (George Boyd 69), Sone Aluko (Yannick Sagbo 69), Danny Graham.
