Sunderland registers interest for the services of TP Mazembe star

Sunderland reportedly sent their representatives to watch Zambia international centre-back Stoppila Sunzu during the 2013 AFCON held in South Africa.

The defender who features in the colours of TP Mazembe almost signed for Reading FC in the winter transfer window.

Despite the first round ouster of Zambia,he was rated by pundits as one of the best defenders that graced the tournament.
